Cancellations & No Show's

You and your appointment are very important to Espoir Hair Salon. I hold your appointment just for you and ask if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, that you kindly provide me 72 hour notice. This way I will be able to adjust my schedule accordingly and accommodate other clients. 

 

**Appointment Retainer Policy**

At Espoir Hair Salon, we are committed to providing exceptional service to all our clients while maintaining a reliable and consistent schedule. To ensure that we can serve you better and keep our schedule dependable, we have implemented the following appointment retainer policy:

**1. 40% Deposit Requirement:**
- To secure your appointment with us, a 40% deposit of the total service cost is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be deducted from the final service cost during your appointment.

**2. Cancellation Policy:**
- We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and sometimes, appointments need to be canceled or rescheduled. However, to maintain the integrity of our scheduling and keep our business running smoothly, we kindly request a minimum of a 72-hour notice for any appointment cancellations.

**3. Deposit Non-Refundable:**
- If you cancel your appointment without providing a 72-hour notice, the 40% deposit is non-refundable. We appreciate your understanding that this policy is in place to help mitigate the challenges we face due to last-minute cancellations.

**Why We Implement This Policy:**

At Espoir Hair Salon, we are a small business that relies on a full and dependable schedule to provide quality services to all our clients. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows disrupt our ability to accommodate other clients, which could include new appointments. As a small business, we must operate efficiently and ensure that our appointments are used to their fullest potential.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy. It helps us serve you better, maintain a reliable schedule, and continue offering the high-quality services you deserve. Your support allows us to provide the best salon experience possible.

Hair Guarantee!

Hair Color Policy: Espoir Hair Salon gladly offers 100% guarantee on all color services within 7 days of service.

 

This Guarantee is not meant to change your entire look, but rather tone out an unwanted hue, extra gray coverage or minor fluctuations. In rare cases that you are not completely satisfied and it seems to be a substantial amount of product to resolve, a minimal product charge may incur.  Espoir Hair Salon is not liable for any color service performed outside of my salon.

 

Please keep in mind; color correction requires more than one service to achieve the desired results, color corrections will be discussed at length and additionally a waiver will need to be signed.  Additionally, color services require at-home care and maintenance. As a color specialist I recommend using the necessary at-home care to preserve your color’s depth and shine. I do not offer any refunds. Espoir Hair Salon specializes in providing the ultimate color experience and I am delighted you have chosen to book your color appointment with me.

 

Color Application Policy: I am honored you have chosen my salon for your beauty needs. I kindly ask that you remove all outer garments/jackets/bulky items and jewelry before color application. This ensures we keep your clothing in pristine condition. Espoir Hair Salon is not responsible for any damage to clothing during color application. 
 

Haircuts:

I stand by my work! I will tell each guest when I am first learning your hair there may be a hair or two that don't fall where you need them to after you style it at home.  Simply let me know in the first week and We will work out a time for you to pop in with your hair styled as you wear it and I will make necessary adjustments.

Coupons:

I offer select coupons through email marketing, and run promotions through the year on my social media. I have an awesome client loyalty program that my clients Love. All coupons are limit one per visit.  

Exception:

Reward Card redemption such as Referral Rewards Do Stack and you can apply your credits to one visit.

  • Do you accept Walk-In's?
    I do not accept walk-ins. I like to be completely prepared for your service prior to your arrival. However, I do offer a waitlist that allows you to be notified if your desired day/time becomes available. Please visit my online booking portal to get on the list.
  • Do you take Cash App?
    I do not accept cash app, venmo, zelle, or any other 3rd party payment methods. My merchant system is operated by Square and your services are allowed to be paid by credit/debit card, as well as cash. I no longer accept checks.
  • Is a trim the same price as a cut?
    Yes, a trim and haircut are one one in the same. The process of reshaping and having access to all of the hair are required for both. Length removed varies between people and desire.
  • Should I schedule a consultation prior to my appointment?
    A consultation is highly recommended as you will be able to discuss your hair goals with your stylist and have a better idea of what is achievable and what exactly you’re wanting, especially if the service is a color service. A consultation is a sure way to ensure that you’re happier with your end result.
  • Is color pricing exact? What can I expect to pay?
    All prices are starting prices and are dependent on the length of the service, amount of product used, and the density of the hair. Each additional hour on top of the time allotted for the service may amount to $60. COLOR CORRECTIONS: color corrections are priced by time. $150 base then $60/hr
  • Do you have pets?
    Yes I have a Chihuahua, and seven cats. Due to State Board of Cosmetology pets are not allowed in the Salon. The salon is not accecable to the pets during business hours. If you have a strong pet allergy you may be affected because I share the home's furnace.
  • Are children welcome?
    Of course! Please give me a heads up when requesting your appointment. This way I can make sure your appointment is ready for a child, toys and snacks. The salon is still a place where there are chemicals and hot tools so please use caution with smaller children, if you wish to bring a pack-n-play you may set one up.
  • How much is a Woman's Haircut?
    Woman's Haircuts start at $55.00
  • I would like to book an appointment, Can I call you to set up?
    I provide online booking for your convenience. By booking online you will be creating your profile and providing me with all of the information I need to reach out to you. All available appointments are visible online and reaching out to me will not change my availability.
  • How much for a Balayage?
    The Amethyst Package is $222. IF you are unsure of the level of blonding you need Book The Pearl for a consultation, haircut and detox treatment for $90 There is a break down of prices on the bottom of the new guest page.
  • Do you do just root touch ups?
    Yes, Al A Carte starting at $75
  • What if I want a haircut without all the frills?
    We are a luxury salon specializing in healthy hair treatments. All of our cuts are packaged with an invigorating hair & scalp facial to detox and deep condition, leaving your hair and scalp feeling healthy, happy and rejuvenated! Each appointment also includes a Reiki infuse wash, hot towels and aromatherapy, so you'll leave with your new style feeling relaxed and refreshed. We set long term goals with our clients, so if you're just looking for a quick cut and out the door or if you like to change stylists often, we probably aren't the best fit for you.
