Hello Gorgeous!

“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it’s all that matters. —Audrey Hepburn
Hi, I’m Kristen — a licensed hairstylist with a heart for thoughtful, intentional care.
I began my hair journey at Hair Fashions by Kaye’s Beauty College in 2002, returned for advanced training in 2012, and became fully licensed in 2014.
I’m deeply committed to continued education and staying current with techniques, trends, and best practices so I can offer work that feels both modern and timeless.
My specialty is natural, low-maintenance hair that fits real life. I focus on:
-
Root touch-ups and gray coverage
-
Lived-in blondes that grow out softly (no harsh lines)
-
Haircuts for all lengths and textures
-
Curly hair shaping with extra care and intention
I love hair that looks good and feels manageable — styles that support your life instead of complicating it.
A Holistic Approach to the Salon Experience
In addition to being a hairstylist, I’m also a certified Reiki Master and meditation teacher, trained in Integrated Energy Therapy, and educated in Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT).
While hair services are always the focus in the salon, my background in energy work naturally informs how I hold space. Many clients come in feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or simply needing a pause — and my goal is for this studio to feel like a place where you can genuinely relax.
If you choose a hair spa experience, your appointment may include:
-
Warm towels during conditioning treatments
-
A calming aroma blend of your choice
-
Gentle, restorative touches designed to promote relaxation
Some clients enjoy light energy work during their service; others simply enjoy the calm environment. Either way, the experience is always respectful, optional, and centered on your comfort.
More Than Just a Hair Appointment
I work with people from all walks of life — busy moms, professionals, creatives, and those navigating seasons of change. What they often have in common is a desire for a quieter, more personal salon experience.
My studio is a cozy, private space designed for one-on-one care. When you leave my chair, I want you to feel not only refreshed, but confident — equipped with simple tips to maintain your hair at home without stress.
A Little About Me Outside the Studio
Outside of the salon, I’m a wife, a mom to two young adults, and a proud Mimi. I love crocheting, tackling DIY projects, and spending time in the kitchen making family favorites (or testing the occasional Pinterest recipe).
You’ll often find me walking at Potter’s Bridge, browsing downtown boutiques, or dreaming up my next creative project.
My Intention for This Space
This studio exists to offer calm, care, and quality — without rush or pressure. Whether you’re here for a haircut, color maintenance, or a little extra self-care, my hope is that you leave feeling like yourself again.
I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into this space.
