I’m Kristen Clark and I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2014 because I love helping others feel confident. I want to help you slay in the hair department so you can feel your best and focus on what’s most important to you.
My goal is to help you reach your hair goals whether you want to be a blonde bombshell or boho babe. I’ve got you covered. While I love offering a variety of services, I specialize in Lived-in Color. That means I love natural looking highlights so I am always using hair painting techniques and root shadows. If you’re into getting amazing, multi-dimensional color while keeping your hair healthy and going longer in between visits, I’m your girl no matter your hair type.
I also specialize in Curly Hair. And as you can see from my headshot I’m a curly girl! After years of heat styling, I finally gave it up and embraced my curls. It was a journey to figure out all the ins and outs of curly hair care, but now as a stylist I am equipped with first hand knowledge on how to transition from high maintenance styling routines to embracing and wearing your curls 24/7. As a Curly Girl I know all too well that nerve wracking feeling of sitting in a new stylist’s chair. I am trained in cutting techniques specifically for curls so I’ve got your back! It’s my job to make you look good and when you sit in my chair you will be truly heard.
My biggest passion project is incorporating Energy Healing into my salon services for a truly renewing experience. I'm excited about being a part of the natural beauty movement.
I am firmly against animal testing as well as the crazy amount of harmful chemicals we put onto our bodies and wash down the drain via beauty care products. I want to show my clients a better way to keep up their beauty routine while also being mindful of their bodies, our furry friends as well as our environment. So I strive to work with brands that perform above and beyond typical beauty care products while remaining healthy, eco-friendly, and cruelty free.
Outside of the studio I am a wife and mom of 2 young adults. In my free time you’ll find me crocheting or doing another DIY project. I love to spend time in my kitchen fixing a family favorite or trying a new Pinterest recipe. You will often find me out walking at Potters Bridge or on the square window shopping at all of our great downtown boutiques.
When you choose me as your stylist you can expect to feel heard and understood, my studio is a cozy place to relax and get away for just a moment to get in your coveted self-care time. When you leave my chair you will be equipped with the tips and tools to create your style at home and maybe even an aha! moment that gives you the confidence boost you deserve.
I would like to share more than hair services with you! I am a Master IET Instructor and a Reiki Master. I would love to share energy healing with you.
I can’t wait to meet you!
Kristen is amazing to work with! Even when I have no idea what I’m talking about but I have a vision of what I want, she’s helped me communicate that to her. I’ve put my hair in her hands several times now, and made big changes like my first perm in nearly 20 yrs and my first lowlights ever, and she’s nailed it every time!
Kristen actually listened to my concerns and desire for how I wanted my hair to turn out since I was going considerably shorter than I had in 30 years. I've been to several salons over the years and usually leave with a sense of disappointment, even after going in with pictures to convey better than words, but Kristen nailed it. Thank you so much!!
